What is the name of a 1990's celtic/irish female singer that was rather popular?

During the 1990's I heard a female singer on the radio that sung a irish/celtic like song with a modern beat in the background. The singer was rather traditional and had a soft whispy voice while the music was more of a slow rock like beat. The radio station I heard it on was typical music of the 90's type, so it wasn't some off the wall singer (I assume).

This singer had at least one hit that was played on the radio a lot, but I never got the name of the song or the artist. I'm trying to track down the song and I have no idea where to go, so I'm trying Yahoo Answers.

Any help you can give me would be great, but I need to be able to find a 30 second sample (or longer if its legal) of the music to verify any answers.

Probably Enya. her big song in the 90s was called "Sail Away" so this is probably the one you're referring to.
Reply:sounds like Enya.
Reply:Okay, I'm pretty sure the record you're referring to is "Orinoco Flow (Sail Away)" by Enya.
Reply:Enya?
