I am writer and I need celtic-sounding names for my latest story. Names for both boys and girls, last and first, that sound good together. THANKS!!
What are some good Celtic-sounding names, both first and last?
I think the origin of my name is Celtic, Kaelyn. But my last name is definitely not celtic.
Reply:Donovan can be a first or a last name, for a boy

Reply:One idea is to look at the credits for Irish films and television shows and see what the cast and crew names are. Some could be Cieran, Patrick, Hugh, Joseph, Orla, Niamh and Sinead etc. and some surnames could be Byrne, Kelly, Mullan, O'Reilly, Murphy, Bergin, Murray and Ryan. Might depend a bit on where in Ireland as to good family names. The links below might help with given names and surnames (and other sites like them). Good luck.
