What does the name matthews mean in celtic?
As Anna said, Matthews as a name is Hebrew not Celtic, BUT phonetically, in Gaelic, "math" means good and "tus" means beginning, so it might sound as if it means something like "a good start" or "the beginning of goodness". But I'm not a gaelic speaker...
Reply:it means your origin is english!
Reply:It means your father was called Matthews
