Does anyone know any irish (Celtic or Gaelic mythlology) with the name bryan in it?

I'm writing a story and my main character's ask his mom where did she come up with his name

Does anyone know any irish (Celtic or Gaelic mythlology) with the name bryan in it?
It's believed to come from the Old Celtic 'bre' which means hill. By extension it's also associated with noble or king (as in a high position).

Brian Boru certainly made the name very popular in the second millenia and he actually started the surname O' Brien.
Reply:not Bryan... but Brian Boru is a famous King of Ireland.
Reply:Brian is a Gaelic name, the BrYan is a modern spelling that actually annoys more people as it does not look right.

The irish for hill is cnoc.
