Does anyone know any irish (Celtic or Gaelic mythlology) with the name bryan in it?
Names relating to the Celtic Myths and Legends ........

Brian - (BREE-an) Of uncertain derivation, poss. from Celtic brig "high, noble." In Irish myth, Brian was one of the three sons of the goddess Danu of the Tuatha De Danaan. High King

Brian Boru ruled Ireland from 1002-1014 and defeated the Vikings at the battle of Clontarf.

Brian - (BREE-an) (Celt) from Brig "high, noble"; "the strong." Brant, Bron, Bryon, Bryan.
Reply:Brian/Bryan/Bryon/Brion etc is actually a Norman name. Ryan is an Irish variant but Brian (and the alternate spellings) come from the french. you're looking for a Saxon name... of course after the middle ages the celts and most other civilizations had adopted Brian but Ryan is the closest ANCIENT Irish equivalent
