I'm wondering if anyone can suggest some good Scottish names for a baby boy. Nothing that's too out of the ordinary. But something that's nice on the ears and won't end up with him getting bullied.
What are some good Celtic/Gaelic names for a baby boy?

Connor

Reply:It really annoys me when people, sometimes with the best will in the world, give "information" which they are not sure about, and so misinform other people by smothering worthwhile information in a pile of nonsense.
Beware of a lot of the contributors here - especially people who quote "babynamesworld" and "baynamesandstuff" which are simply collections of unsourced guesses! For instance, there is a long list above purporting to give celtic/gaelic meanings of names and most of them have no basis. Keenan means "little ancient one"?? Keeffe means "small stream"?? Not only are these examples pure crAp invented by conmen/women, but they are surnames which are never used as first names in Ireland (Some other surnames are, but not these).
Also I understand that you want specifically Scottish Gaelic names - many of the above are Irish Gaelic, although they are usually similar.
The best list of truly scottish gaelic names above, with no bullshit, is Kiki's.
