Does anyone know the name of dominic purcell's (prison break) grandfather who played for Celtic FC?

a Celtic player with a connection to someone breaking out of prison... there is some irony there.





I have googled it and all i can come up with is "Purcell's paternal grandfather was from Bergen, and his paternal grandmother a New York-born Irish-American" which means he is Norwegian. And she's half irish.





Cant find anything else.

unlike the lady boy above me i shall give you a proper answer,celtic where founded by the then pope who wanted a foothold in scotland,so one day he dressed up (or down) in a monks outfit and got himself an sexy irish accent and borded the night steamer from rome to glasgow,when he arrived here he saw,to his dismay,that the poor irish folk had no clothes or houses,so he set about a cunning plan to start a football team,pretending to care for these down trodden people,he said that he would cloth and feed the poor tinkers,he started the team ,now known as celtic,and built houses and clothes for the ginger people.after a year or two he became accepted,then things changed,he started to hog the money for himself and charged the irish rent they couldn't afford,when he made his millions he fcuked off back to rome(stopping in belfast to give gerry adams granda money to start up the ira) and lived happly ever after.they say he fathered 30 kids and to this day there are thousands of john pauls in glasgow.
